to take the reigns!

QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN CANDIDATES:

​

• A friendly, upbeat demeanor

          There will be times you will sit in on meetings or perform site visits and will interact with clients.

​

• A keen attention to detail

​

• An interest in architecture and construction

​

• Available to start upon graduation (Yes, we will accommodate your absence for Beach Week)

​

• Available to work Monday - Friday (32-40 hours per week between the hours of 8-4:30)

​

• Must have a valid driver's license

​

• Having an artistic ability or experience with architectural drawing, construction or gaming is a plus!

​

​

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

​

   You will work closely with our SR Design Professional, other drafting technicians and our Class A Contractor

​

• Make site visits and take detailed measurements with our SR Design Professional or other drafting technicians

• Document existing structures and site conditions through digital photography and upload those files to our system
• Create and edit 3D models in Chief Architect based on field documentation data collected during site visits
• Create and edit 3D models in Chief Architect based on hand sketches and written/verbal instructions prepared by the Senior Design Professional
• Create detailed, well-organized construction documents for the purpose of obtaining building permits
• Create, maintain and edit our 3D modeling component and construction detail content library
• Assist with Integrating virtual reality walk-throughs into our services

• Assist with answering phones, taking messages and directing messages to the appropriate staff members

• Interact with clients, subcontractors and vendors via phone/email/text to answer questions and assist with their requests

• Research and familiarize yourself with building codes, zoning ordinances and environmental guidelines

• Complete and deliver zoning/building permit applications and construction documents to the appropriate County offices

• Edit photos in Photoshop/other photo editing software programs for marketing purposes

• Make copies, scan and file documents

• Create, update and maintain client project files

• Collaborate with all Rave team members in the office and in the field

• Run errands (as needed)

​​​   EXPERIENCE or FAMILIARITY WITH THE FOLLOWING IS A PLUS:

​

• Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Google Drive, Gmail

• Revit or other 3D modeling/rendering software

• Smartphone apps

​

    PAY

    $14 per hour to start with performance reviews at 90 days, 180 days and annually with an opportunity for raises at each review!
