CANDIDATES MUST:

• Be at least 17 years of age

• Not be afraid of heights

• Be able to lift 40lbs + or be willing to work hard to achieve lifting 40+ lbs

• Have a working cellphone (must be a smartphone)

• Have dependable transportation and a valid driver's license

• Be drug free and willing to take a drug test

• Be willing to undergo a background check

• Know how to read a tape measure

• Be able to perform basic math calculations in your head (including addition and subtraction of fractions down to16ths).

• Have a strong work ethic and a passion for learning

IDEAL CANDIDATES:

• Will be fast learners and have a desire to become professionals in the carpentry trade and grow with our firm!

JOB DUTIES:

Provide a critical support role to team members by:

​​

• Setting up the job site every morning to ensure a smooth flow to the workday

• Breaking down the job site every day

• Maintaining regular inventory of supplies in the cargo trailer

• Cleaning the job site to include the yard to keep the site safe

  • stacking and organizing materials

  • sweeping floors

  • raking the yard and using a magnet to pick up nails, etc

• Toting lumber, bags of concrete, drywall, plywood, bundles of shingles, boxes of nails, boxes of tile, etc

• Retrieving tools and other supplies from job trailer for team members

• With time and training you will:

  • Use various equipment to cut materials and assist in building and renovating homes

    • circular saws, reciprocating saws, air nailers, framing nailers, palm nailers, miter saws, table saws, band saws, routers, floor sanders, etc

Our staff offers decades of experience in the construction industry and have a wealth of knowledge to share if you have the desire and ability to learn!

PAY:

 $15-18 per hour depending upon experience

Rave is a family owned, Class A Contracting firm that provides our clients with extensive experience and knowledge in designing and building custom homes, accessory structures and light commercial works as well as renovating and adding onto existing homes.The majority of our work is conducted by our in-house staff and not subbed out which means you will gain experience in many different building trade divisions.
